What is the history of Unilever Ghana?

Unilever Ghana PLC traces its roots to the old Lever Brothers and UAC operations in Ghana. The business was formally incorporated and listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE: UNIL) in 1992.

From its manufacturing base in Tema's Heavy Industrial Area, the company produces and distributes some of Ghana's most recognised household brands: Omo, Key Soap, Geisha, Frytol, Royco, Pepsodent, Knorr, Blue Band, Sunlight, Close-Up, Lux and Lifebuoy.

Today, Unilever Ghana PLC is one of the country's largest fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies, employing hundreds of people across manufacturing, sales and support functions.
